Dr. Irma Echandy graduated from New York University School of Dentistry in 1996. Dr. Echandy brings an extensive background in that she served as a Lieutenant Commander for the U.S. Navy having hands on experience as a general dentist for 5 years. At that time, she was selected for Pediatric post doctorate specialty training at the University of Puerto Rico as a Reserve Officer for two more years from where she graduated in 2003. She brings not only a broad spectrum of dental experience, but a combination of both ‘gentle touch’ and a fun personality that eases both children and parents alike. Dr. Echandy currently lives with her family in Bethesda.
Dr. Robles attended New York University where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1995. She pursued a one year hospital internship program at Albany Medical Center to earn her residency certificate in 1996. She returned to New York University in order to continue another two year post doctorate program to receive her Specialist Degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics in 1998. Dr. Robles is a second generation Orthodontist ( Her mom also was an Orthodontist). She is certified provider for Damon braces, Insignia Braces, Invisalign and Invisalign Teen as well as Harmony/lingual braces ( braces behind the teeth).
